On the corner of the little brick sidewalk square in our town is a little gem of a small business that I like to frequent several times a week. This adorable donut shop has been serving Maine customers for decades, and for good reason! Their classic cake donuts are known for being freshly baked and incredibly delicious.
When I was pregnant, I waddled my not-so-little self into Frostys, hoping there was still a blueberry frosted donut nestled on the shelf. The friendly employees were very gracious and accommodating of my crazy cravings for sweets, and I became a frequent flyer of the shop.
After my little one was born, she quickly earned the title of “Frostys Baby”, as we continued to stop by the shop in search for tasty treats for Bible studies and for lazy Saturday breakfasts.
One day, I got the crazy idea to make up a fun treat for my niece and nephew. After stumbling upon these donuts from The Decorated Cookie, I quickly purchased some Frostys donuts, blue cookie icing, candy eyes, and mini cookies to try it myself! They turned out so cute! This would be a fun activity to do with your preschoolers.
Edible glitter seriously makes anything more gorgeous. If only I had seen these before I had my brunch wedding! They would have been the perfect addition.
